Purpose:

Ultimate Warriors CIC is committed to safeguarding and protecting children and young people involved in our activities, which include mixed martial arts (MMA), keep-fit, and self-defense. This policy applies to all staff, managers, trustees, directors, volunteers, students, and anyone working on behalf of the company.

• Protect children who receive any service from us, including children of adults receiving services.
• Ensure that no child or young person experiences abuse or harm.
• Provide guidance and overarching principles to our staff and volunteers on child protection and safeguarding.

Children can be vulnerable to various forms of abuse and harm, including but not limited to:

• Physical or emotional abuse
• Neglect
• Sexual abuse
• Female genital mutilation (FGM)
• Grooming and exploitation
• Trafficking and modern slavery
• Exposure to or infliction of domestic abuse
