Anti-Bullying Policy Statement

Introduction:

Ultimate Warriors CIC is committed to safeguarding and child protection, placing these at the heart of our activities. Our anti-bullying policy is a crucial part of this commitment, reflecting the needs of the children and young people we work with and aligning with our other safeguarding and organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

Purpose and Scope:

Ultimate Warriors CIC engages with children and families through activities such as mixed martial arts, self-defense, and keep-fit programs. This policy aims to:

• Prevent bullying among children and young people involved in our organization.
• Ensure that any bullying incidents are promptly addressed, and those affected receive the necessary support.
• Inform all staff, volunteers, children, and their families about the steps to prevent and handle bullying.

This policy applies to all individuals working on behalf of Ultimate Warriors CIC, including senior managers, board members, paid staff, volunteers, and students.

Definition of Bullying:

Bullying involves repeated abusive behaviour intended to harm someone physically or emotionally. This includes cyberbullying.

This policy is based on UK legislation, policy, and guidance aimed at protecting children, with resources from NSPCC Learning on bullying, cyberbullying, online abuse, and child protection.
